Blogging makes the world go round
I've been wanting to blog for a while and glad I've finally downloaded the app to my acct. now if only they can switch it over to the tablet version....
These days I've learned if you need to know how to do something you just google it! Chances are its on YouTube or on a blog.
I've also got some tutorials on how to knit some are a little more advanced than others and some videos do not go from one step to the final step in making an actual item. they've mainly just been videos on the specific technique to share with friends online or faraway.
While anything you wanted to know you can find on Google YouTube Facebook the World Wide Web, but you can also find many people blog to get their emotions out to put things in writing to help them through this stressful time In their life but they're also people that blog in the craft world. They show us a specific technique they want to share with us. Something that they want everybody to know how to do, their excited they learned or that they just want to publish on their blog.
So this specific blog post is actually a big thank you to all the crafters out there! It's hard to think that there are some people out there that are not willing to share a specific technique to making something they want it to be just their own they don't want to share how they did it. Over the years I've come across many groups on Facebook on the web, Message forums where there are like crafters all the crocheters get together all the knitters get together and not only do they care about all the things that everybody is making they also take the time to share their favorite patterns share things they like to make and help each other out when someone doesn't understand part of making something. This goes out to all the people with how to's, video tutorials, photo tutorials, instructionals and anything that shares how to do or make something. It's called kindness. And people are kind enough to put it on their blogs and share! Without some blogs (and permissions from the owners) I wouldn't have such great items to offer for sale in my etsy store! I wouldn't be doing craft shows, I probably wouldn't even like to do anytype of craft if no one shared their patterns, or techniques or anything!
So remember when you sit down to search for an item for a gift that not only are you supporting a small work at home business/craft but that you're also thanking everyone that was involved in making that item come to life.
While I do make my own knitting and crochet patterns, I also spread the love of others styles (with their permission) into my own works of art. I give back to them by buying their patterns and you give back by buying my items.
It's a great big circle of sharing.
Without blogs and sharing we'd be no where. Thank you to all!
